錢大康昨日用電郵通告師生，指校園現時平靜，抗爭者已停止活動，路障亦清除。由於要清理校園，不建議師生今日（周一）返回九龍塘校園。佢話將會提升校園保安，包括封閉浸大校園，喺入口加以控制，只容許師生出入。
港大署理行政及財務副校長王于漸表示，港大本部及百周年校園的道路情况雖有改善，但校園受損設施仍需時復修。校方於本部及百周年校園只會維持緊急及必須的服務。港大建議，辦公室在本部及百周年校園的教職員盡量在家工作，避免今日回校。王于漸又稱，於大學本部、百周年校園、沙宣道校園、所有宿舍及舍堂等，設站檢查出入者的大學證件。港大昨亦通知校友上述安排，稱希望禁止非港大教職員或學生進入校園。
嶺大昨亦宣布校園不開放予公眾，除學生飯堂外，學校各院系部門和校園設施的運作今日恢復正常。科大上周已宣布，因校園出現暴力及惡意毁壞財物等事件，引起師生安全憂慮，大學於各出入口查驗學生及職員證，只允校內師生及職員進入，外訪者須向保安登記。

Dear Students and Colleagues,
Campus Updates and Arrangements for Studies and Work
- I would like to report to you that the disruptions to our Kowloon Tong main campus by protesters had ended and the surrounding roadblocks cleared. The campus is now quiet and peaceful.
- The main campus is still being cleaned up to ensure that it is free from any dangerous substances. It is expected the cleanup would take a few more days. All students and colleagues are advised not to come back to the Kowloon Tong Campus tomorrow (Monday). We will notify you once our campus is back to normal operation.
- For our students, arrangements have been made to expedite the operations of on-line and other alternative learning modes thanks to the hard work of our teachers and staff. This mode of teaching and learning may need continuous improvement in the next few days to ensure learning and assessment would be done effectively.
- Colleagues in essential services (e.g. Estate Office) who have operational needs to work on campus will be notified of their work arrangements by their respective units.
- Student and staff safety is our number one priority and education is our primary mission. All of us at HKBU will continue to do our utmost to achieve these two goals. As suggested by some students and colleagues, we would further step up security on campus. We would consider a closed campus for HKBU students and staff only by tightening control at entry points to our campus. Further details would be announced later.
- Our campus facilities have been subject to vandalism. On behalf of the University Management, I would like to sincerely express our appreciation to all those who have been working beyond their normal call duty to take care of our campus and bring our University back to operational mode, including our Estate Office and cleaning colleagues who worked tirelessly even during the campus shut down.
- I am also grateful to colleagues from all offices in helping our students to cope with a most challenging situation over the last week.
- Across Hong Kong the situation remains volatile with outbreaks of violence and confrontation. I again appeal to all students to stay away from harm’s way.
