浸大學生確診 去過AAB及中醫藥大樓

浸會大學通告師生指,有體育系學生確診武漢肺炎。佢喺11月3號都仍然有返學,到5號出現病徵求診並確診武漢肺炎。

通告指,該生到過教學及行政大樓課室AAB613、同層廁所、中醫藥大樓地下課室SCM012、AAB嘅餐廳同埋賽馬會師生活動中心地下嘅YMCA Tuck Shop。校方已為上址安排消毒。

為策安全,所有喺AAB613同SCM012上堂嘅課程,以及PERM3026 (Section 1) 同PERM3027 (Section 1)將會停課,直到另行通知。

Dear students and colleagues,

 

Confirmed COVID-19 student infection case

 

The University received a report that an undergraduate student from the Department of Sport, Physical Education and Health has tested positive for COVID-19.

 

According to information available, the last day the student returned to campus was 3 November. The student developed COVID-19 symptoms on 5 November and had sought medical consultation on the same day. 

 

During the stay on campus on 3 November, the student attended classes at AAB613 at Academic and Administration Building and SCM012 at Jockey Club School of Chinese Medicine Building, and visited the toilet on 6th floor and the Main Canteen (without dining) at Academic and Administration Building, and YM Store at Jockey Club Academic Community Centre. The student has worn face mask throughout the stay on campus.

 

Upon receiving the case report, the Estates Office has arranged closure of and thorough disinfection for all the classrooms and venues concerned.

 

As a precautionary measure, all classes held in AAB613 and SCM012, and classes of PERM3026 (Section 1) and PERM3027 (Section 1)will be conducted online until further notice.  Students will be notified by their teachers individually for related arrangements.

 

The University is liaising closely with the Centre for Health Protection (CHP) for extra precautionary measures needed. We will update you on our follow up actions for the case as soon as possible.
